Mirror Flowers/ Water Moon(2025)
The work draws inspiration from the flickering shadows within a room bathed in winter sunshine and the melancholic reflections in a park pond as the last rays of the setting sun fade. These seem ethereal yet open a serene, blissful outlet for contemplation. Thus, inspired by Mark
Wallinger's work, an interactive emotional landscape was created within public spaces, centred around this ephemeral, dreamlike sentiment.

“ When you gaze at me.
Do you see the calm, clear reflection of who I am?
Or the traces of light
That pierced through the clouds and settled on me?
Do you see someone from the depths of your forgotten memories?
Someone you've left behind,
Someplace you once knew,
Or a moment long past?
Can you follow the trembling ripples,
The sharp, flickering edges of light,
And find a sense of peace within me,
A feeling of wholeness?
Or will you, in the end
Return from this certain pursuit
With a quiet sense of loss?
Do you often avoid meeting my gaze because of this,
And yet, driven by loneliness,
In a fleeting touch
On some sunlit afternoon.
Find yourself once again
Lost in a deep, silent stare?”
